The side crunch
like the abdominal crunch is used to strengthen the midsection of
the body. The muscles being worked are the internal and external
obliques which help rotate the body to the left and the right. These
muscles also assist in spine stabilization, translating to better
balance, spinning and total performance.
on back, knees bent 90 degrees hands clasped behind neck.
and rotate left side of body slightly to the right.
and repeat to opposite side.
